Los Angeles Elopement: Pasadena City Hall Wedding

Los Angeles has no shortage of stunning backdrops to say I do. Pasadena City Hall is one of them.

When I asked Elaine and Man what they valued together as a couple, they replied “kindness, honesty, and living in the moment.” And so it wasn't a surprise when they decided to skip the whole traditional wedding venture. Especially after the loss of a dear family member at the beginning of the year, they wanted something low-key, unconventional, privately their own. (They also wanted to go to their favorite local pizza joint for dinner! )

And so on a Tuesday afternoon before sunset in a near empty Pasadena City Hall, they exchanged private vows. Tearful, beautiful, hilarious words of personal promise and wisdom. It was a simple, elegant, perfect afternoon.
