Adamson House: A Perfect Malibu Beach Wedding

Salt spray and sunlight. That’s how this all started.

Connor was out surfing one afternoon in Malibu when he heard celebratory sounds just off the beach. Looking up, he realized he had stumbled upon the ideal venue for a Los Angeles beach wedding — the historic Adamson House right on the water’s edge.

The couple got ready for the day in separate Malibu Airbnbs. One was beachfront, a great spot for the couple’s first look (not to mention surfing for the groomsmen). Beautiful and barefoot, a grinning Galen met sweet Connor on the sand.

Under the canopy of a gigantic oak tree and with their closest loved ones, Connor’s 98 year old (!!!) grandfather officiated their wedding at the Adamson House. Incredible storytellers, the couple’s vows detailed past adventures around the world and hopes for what’s to come. (Connor even memorized his vows!!!) It was all a California dream.
