Urban DTLA Wedding at City Libre, Los Angeles

Living in Downtown LA, I have a soft spot for urban spaces that make for a great party. When Anna and John approached me about documenting their big day at the new City Libre in Boyle Heights, I knew I had to say yes. It was certain to be a great time.

And my gut was right. The space was intimate, a concrete playground. Anna and John kept things simple— no wedding party, southern style bbq, an open bar. The focus was for guests to have a good time. Rex their dog was the guest of honor. Hot cheetos were consumed. The schedule was chill and the party was a rager. The night ended with many shirtless men and a taco cart. If that’s not LA, I don’t know what is.
